Heitor is a Brazilian children’s book illustrator and former graphic designer based in Rio de Janeiro. Growing up surrounded by the ocean, lush nature, and Brazil’s rich cultural diversity, he developed a deep appreciation for storytelling, human connections, and the beauty of everyday life.
His work is characterized by vibrant colors, rich textures, expressive characters, and a strong focus on visual storytelling. Drawing inspiration from books, films, classical art, and quiet moments spent sketching by the sea, he strives to create illustrations that bring warmth, emotion, wonder, and joy to readers of all ages.
To date, Heitor has illustrated three books in Brazil and contributed artwork to a story published in Storytime magazine. He is internationally represented by Pyro Represents and is always excited to collaborate on meaningful stories that connect with children and families around the world.
He hopes to be remembered as someone who brought happiness wherever he went—and whose illustrations left readers with a smile, a laugh, or a heartfelt emotion.
Heitor is always looking for new projects and creative opportunities!
